The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro With QWERTY Keyboard

The first ever Google Android mobile phone by Sony, the Xperia X10 is already been available in the UK for a while now, on sale at every network except 3 UK. However, none of the networks have so far come out with its little brother, the X10 Mini and the phone we adored at MWC. This is the charge card sized Xperia X10 Mini Pro - the version with a side slider Qwerty keyboard, that will be a great addition.

We'd anticipate pretty much all of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 networks to go with the smaller device at some stage. Nevertheless, there may be an exclusive that is not yet revealed. Given that the X10 was made free with a two year A25 to A30 a month on long term agreements, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini and Mini Pro should be on a similar type of contract, or even better we hope. However, we will have to wait and see what is offered in the end. Until we know, we better get cracking on reviewing this Android handset.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro runs on the Android operating system, developed in part by Google, which has become very popular over the past 18 months. Downloadable applications from the Android Market shop, which is growing all the time, full customization and support for Google services such as Google Maps, G-Mail, and Google Search are all Possible with the Android operating system.

Yet in spite of its lack of size, the Mini Pro is a proper Google Android smartphone and has a complete package of Google services, which includes Gmail, the Google Talk messenger, and Google Maps. The mobile phone carries a 2.5-inch touch screen and the interface is different from the Sony Ericsson X10 and really is optimized for one-handed control which includes a way of personalizing all the corners of the screen with shortcuts.

Sony Ericsson Timescape is a new user interface that is able to manage all your communication with one person in one place and ease. Flick through your conversations to look at your Facebook, Twitter, pics, e-mail, and text messages all at the same time, without having to move in and out of programs. Users of this mobile phone will be able to start a conversation by SMS Text and continue it by mail; the X10 Mini records all your content in one place making it clear to understand what's going on.

Naturally the usual excellent Walkman interface is included and so is the Cross Media bar which gives access to all of your music, video and photo files, and of course, the Pro comes with the slide-out Qwerty, designed to make messaging easier. The phone is compatible with microSD cards up to 16GB, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS built in, and an advanced web browser for going on the internet from your mobile phone. So, you should be able to boost up this mobile phone to meet all of your file needs.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro even offers an FM radio and pre-installed 3D video games, and A-GPS sat nav. By and large, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini is a small, sleek and stylish mobile phone which also offers on functionality. Instead of being an alternative style for Android mobile phones, which could be the future.
